Edinburgh Rugby squad update

Edinburgh Rugby has issued the following squad update ahead of Saturday’s BKT United Rugby Championship match against Connacht at Dexcom Stadium (10 May, kick-off 7.35pm)

Lewis Wells (ankle) – Has returned to full training

Tom Dodd (shoulder) – Has returned to training and still on track to be fully fit by June.

Paul Hill (back) – Continues his rehabilitation. Will not return this season.

Ben Vellacott (foot) – Expected back in mid-May

Robert Carmichael (wrist) – Successfully underwent surgery. Continues his rehabilitation and is expected back in June.

Ross McCann (foot) – Out until late May

Dave Cherry (knee) – Out until early June

Duhan van der Merwe (ankle) – Expected back during May.

Emiliano Boffelli (hamstring) – Remains week to week.

Matt Scott (back) – Remains week to week

Jamie Hodgson (tricep) – Out until June

Luke Crosbie (pec) – Out until June.

Connor Boyle (knee) – Expected back in September.
