Brumbies welcome back Wallabies

The ACT Brumbies have welcomed nine returning Wallabies back to Brumbies HQ as pre-season preparations ramp up ahead of the 2026 Swyftx Super Rugby Pacific campaign.

Nine Wallabies have rejoined the wider Brumbies squad this week, including eight who attended the recent Wallabies camp in Sydney, along with Lachlan Lonergan, who returns following the injury he sustained against the British & Irish Lions last year.

The group includes established club leaders Allan Alaalatoa and Ryan Lonergan, dynamic fan favourites Corey Toole, Nick Frost and Billy Pollard, and players continuing their comeback journeys such as Lonergan, Tom Wright and Rob Valetini. New recruit Tane Edmed has also linked up with the squad for the first time after joining from the NSW Waratahs.

The group adds experience, leadership and a good deal of talent to an already impressive group. The team are undertaking an intensive pre-season training block as they build toward their upcoming trial matches and season opener.

The squad will continue preparations with trial fixtures against the Western Force in Perth on January 30 and the NSW Waratahs at Marist College on February 5, before the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season gets underway against the Western Force in Perth on Saturday, February 14
