George Ford directs Sale as they maul Newcastle

Things are getting worse as the season goes on for the Newcastle Red Bulls as they remain winless so far this season. Round 3 saw a massive loss as they conceded nine tries against Sale Sharks. Fergus LEe-Warner was the stand out defender for Newcastle with 17 tackles on the night but the night belonged to Tom Roebuck who beat six defenders, made three clean breaks and scored a hat trick of tries.

Sale move to the top of the table with this win but are not likely to stay there come the end of the weekend.
