Australia hung on to a 32-35 victory over Japan, running in 5 converted tries. Lets take a look at 5 things we learned from the clash
1. Ryunosuke Ito is the real deal. The Japanese flyhalf scored the opening try in the match and looked dangerous on attack the whole match.

2. The Wallabies set piece attack can be very dangerous at times. Most of the match was around general attack but the Wallabies first phase attack was mostly on point, with them scoring this try from a lineout.

3. The Wallabies struggle on defence when the game gets lose. The moment Japan started throwing the ball around or playing out the back, the Wallabies defence was all over the park.
4. Australia can close big matches. Every time Japan crawled their way back into the match, Australia got a way to stay in the fight.

5. Warner Deans is a very good player. The Japanese lock was huge for his side, scoring a try, making 11/14 tackles and winning lineouts for his team.
Les Kiss will want his team to improve when the game gets lose. Harry Wilson was massive again for his team
