KURTIS MACDONALD SUSPENDED FOR FOUR WEEKS
The Super Rugby Pacific Judicial Committee has found Crusaders wing Kurtis MacDonald guilty of dangerous play in contravention of Law 9.17.
The dangerous play, for which MacDonald received a red card, occurred in the 67th minute of last Friday's match between the Crusaders and Blues at One New Zealand Stadium in Christchurch.
The Judicial Committee determined that the act merited a mid-range entry point of eight weeks/matches.
In light of MacDonald accepting he committed an act of foul play as well as mitigating factors such as his disciplinary record and remorse, the Judicial Committee applied the full 50 per cent reduction in sanction.
MacDonald has been suspended from all forms of the game for four weeks.
