Amelia Whitaker is a rising outside back from Sydney who has built a handy resume of junior rugby achievements before stepping into state and national squads.
The niece of former Wallabies and Waratahs legend Chris Whitaker, Amelia has come through the NSW Rugby pathways on her way to Australian sides.
She was chosen for the Australian Under 18s side which came runners-up at the Global Youth Tournament in 2024, where she was named in the team of the tournament.
Whitaker has played for the Australia A side in Rugby Sevens recently, including winning the title with the side in 2025.
She also plays in the XVs format, making her Super Rugby Women's debut for the NSW Waratahs in 2025.
In 2026, Whitaker was selected in the Wallaroos squad as she eyes a Test debut.
