A powerful Georgian hooker, Badri Alkhazashvili made the venture to France where he joined Toulon's academy.
Alkhazashvili is a typical Georgian front rower as his scrummaging, defensive and offensive work are of a high order making him a real prospect for the future.
He made his test debut at the age of 21 and despite missing out on the Georgia Rugby World Cup Squad, he already has 9 test caps including two starts.
At the end of the 2018/19 season, Alkhazashvili signed a to deal to join Lyon.
