A product Tarporley High School, the lively scrum half started playing rugby at Winnington Park RFC aged six before moving to Bowdon RUFC at thirteen.
He played school rugby at Tarporley High School before moving to Ellesmere College at fourteen
Warr signed a five-year contract at Rugby Union Premiership side Sale Sharks just months after finishing his academic studies.
He joined the Sale Academy aged 14 and ended up making his Premiership debut for Sale against Harlequins at the Stoop in September 2018
The scrum-half joined the academy at Sale and kicked off his time there when he was named as part of the squad for the televised Rugby Sevens at Franklins Gardens in Northampton.
He represented Scotland at age grade level (18,19 and 20s) and then competed for England Under-20 against Scotland in the final round of the 2019 Six Nations Under 20s Championship.
