FULL-TIME: Sale get off to a good start in their opening Amlin group game with the win at home to Biarritz. The Sharks out powered and outplayed the away side in every aspect of the game tonight. Stand-out performances from the Sharks pack made it easy for the home side, most notably from young loose-head prop Ross Harrison who is named man of the match after a very strong performance, especially at scrum time. Biarritz looked a shadow of their former self. A poor performance from a side fighting for survival in the Top 14. Their minds were quite clearly on other problems. They rarely looked dangerous in attack and lacked aggression in defense at times. Sale can take many promising things from tonight's performance.
