Carter to Miss Top 14 Semi-Final

Carter to Miss Top 14 Semi-Final

Racing 92 head into their Top 14 semi-final without the services of their two first-choice flyhalves following the news that Dan Carter has been ruled out of the semi-final with a thigh injury he picked up ahead of the Champions Cup Final against Leinster.

Carter was replaced by Remi Tales, who is likely to start the semi-final against his former club Castres with Pat Lambie nursing a long-term injury.

Versatile back Antoine Gibert is likely to be named among the replacements and will be able to cover both Tales and Teddy Iribaren, starting at scrumhalf in the absence of Maxime Machenaud.

Castres' will face Racing without the services of hooker Jody Jenneker after the LNR handed him a three-week ban after he was red carded in last week's play-off victory against Toulouse.
