The Highlanders cemented their place in the top six of the Super Rugby competition with an emphatic 45-24 win over the hapless Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Saturday.
Outscoring the home team by seven tries to three, the Highlanders moved up to fifth place - with the same points as the fourth-placed Chiefs, 39.
The bonus point was secured inside the opening half-hour, the Highlanders taking a 26-3 lead into the half-time break.
