Scotland winger Sean Lamont believes rugby’s lawmakers must act immediately to address the current confusion among players about what they can and cannot do while trying to field high balls.
The 92-times-capped Lamont, the most experienced player in the current Scotland squad, was speaking in the wake of the incident that led to fly-half Finn Russell being handed a two-week ban for his clash with Dan Biggar of Wales when the two countries met at Murrayfield last week.
