Thomas Ramos happy to fill in for Romain Ntamack if needed

Thomas Ramos happy to fill in for Romain Ntamack if needed

The final of the 2020/21 Top 14 season will see a repeat of the Champions Cup final after Toulouse La Rochelle won their respective semi-finals.

However, the victory over Bordeaux may have come at cost for Toulouse with Romain Ntamack leaving the pitch on a stretcher.

The French pivot Ntamack scored the opening try in the fourth minute but was stretchered off with a suspected concussion. He was the victim of a late tackle from Bordeaux centre Ulupano Seuteni that resulted in a red card for the Samoan midfielder.

However, the man that filled in for Ntamack says he is capable of doing so in the final if needed.

Ramos scored a second try for Toulouse in the second half and added 10 points from the boot.

"We have already played La Rochelle four times this season. It will be a different context than the European Cup final," said Ramos.

"It will be in France, we will have more supporters, too.

"We will see what will happen with Romain and the concussion protocol. If I have to play 10, it's a position that I know."

Seuteni hammered Ntamack with a tackle that was late, high and reckless with the Samoan copping a red card for the challenge.

The final takes place at the Stade de France in Paris on 25 June.
