Committing to his boyhood club for another two years, the tighthead prop continues his journey in the Blue, Black and White of which he came through the Academy.
Earning his debut against Leicester Tigers in September 2024, Sela has gone on to earn his first Champions Cup start, and recently called into the England international squad for the 2026 Six Nations campaign.
The prop, who hails from a proud Fijian and Army heritage, began his Bath Rugby journey after joining Royal Wootton Bassett RFC and Beechen Cliff School.
Of renewing with Bath, Sela said: “Bath is home for me. From playing in the Academy to playing with the senior team, I’ve always seen it as a privilege to wear the jersey.
“I feel like something special is being built here for the future to come, so to carry on my journey in the Blue, Black and White is honestly a blessing. Psalm 37:5.”
At just 20 years of age, Sela has earned 14 caps to date.
Of securing Sela’s future at Bath Rugby, Johann van Graan commented: “We are so excited about Billy continuing at Bath. It has been great to see him progress through the Bath pathway and it’s a great testament not only to Billy but to all in our pathway.
“His development over the last few years as a young man has seen him grown immensely and his best is definitely yet to come.”
