A win that leaves new Wallaby coach unbeaten as Australia demolish the Springboks but allow the World Champions to make a comeback off the back of poor discipline. Here are some talking points.

The Springboks Compounding Errors:

While there is a lot to say about the multiple changes and lack of continuity the Springboks continued to compound errors. There were times when a bad pass created another bad pass, a loose ball was snatched and shifted on which forced a handling errors and lost possession but it was very evident then they were chasing the game and were playing 11 players and just wanted to play touch rugby when a simple case of setting it up and exploiting the numbers was the answer and that is where they lost the game.

Stadium Comms Stumble:

For the second game running the Springboks played a test match that decended into a stuttering stop start game due to a communication breakdown to the referee which saw Piardi forced into talking with the TMO via a mobile phone.

Key Springboks Crumbled:

While there were players who lacked match fitness there were some key players who were heavily inolved in the RGR series who did not show up. Both Esterhuizen and Marx did not provide the impact and experience required on the day.

Sua'ali'i should move to wing permanently:

Kiss moving Suali'i to wing proved to be a great call with his superior aerial game coming good and allowing the Wallabies to pursue pressure on the Springboks with three attack minded and hard hitting 'midfielders' on the park at the same time with Suali'i, Paisami and Ikitau all involved.
