Born on the 25th March 1985 in Lautoka, Fiji, Watisoni Votu is a winger by trade. A member of the Fiji Sevens squad for both the 2008-09 and 2009-10 sevens series, Votu progressed to the national 15s side in 2012 when he was a member of the end of year touring party. Votu featured in all four matches against Gloucester, Ireland XV, Georgia and England. Due to join English side Exeter Chiefs in 2012, Votu's transfer was delyaed first due to visa restrictions and then because he was involved in an alleged case of assault in Fiji.
