Zack Test

Zack Test started his rugby career at Woodside High School in Redwood City, CA. After leading his team to a California State Title, he switched his focus to football and accepted a scholarship to the University of Oregon. Zack redshirted his freshman year while continuing to play rugby at the University.

He decided to refocus his talents to rugby after playing in the U20 Junior World Cup in Wales. Zack began his 7s career for the USA at age 18, and played in 63 games and scored a once American-record of 143 tries. He also played in a 7s World Cup, 15s World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.

Zack’s coaching career began in 2017 with the Southern California Griffins High School Select Side, the gold-medal-winning Maccabiah team, as well as the Head Coach of the San Diego State 7s team. Alongside Scott Murray, Zack is now the co-Head Coach for San Diego Legion, as well as Academy Director for the next generation of Legion players.
