Brad was born in New Zealand but has both Maori and American Samoan heritage.
He is athletic, explosive and rumor has it jumped between wing and no.8 in high school while staring for the highly talented Christchurch Boys HS 1st XV before being selected for the NZ Secondary Schools Barbarians.
He was a NZ U20 trialist, has played with Canterbury Development, and was the University of Canterbury Player of the Year in 2017.
In August 2019, he signed for New England Free Jacks.
