Damien Tussac

A powerful scrummager Damien Tussac is a French-born tighthead prop who opted to represent Germany - who qualifies to play for through his German grandmother.

Tussac played junior rugby for La Valette-du-Var, Stade Toulousain and SC Albi before joining RC Toulon in 2008.

In the 2009–10 season, he has made appearances for the club in the Top 14 and European Challenge Cup, but was still mainly a member of the clubs under-21 team.

After spending time on loan with Albi Tussac signed a senior contract with Toulon in 2009 and continued to represent the club until 2012 when he signed for English club Yorkshire Carnegie.

He moved back to France in 2014 signing a two-year deal with Montauban.

In 2016 Castres confirmed the Tussac would be joining the club ahead of the 2016/17 season and has since become a regular in the starting line up.

Tussac has made over 14 appearances for Germany since debuting against Georgia in 2009.

In February 2018 Tussac was forced into retirement due to injury.
