Fabien spent four years at Grenoble from 2013-2017 before retiring from professional rugby.
He played mostly as a fullback (arrière), occasionally fly-half.
Shortly after retiring, he joined FC Grenoble staff. In 2019‑2020 he worked in the Grenoble professional team, in particular with responsibility for the jeu au pied (kicking game).
In December 2020, he was named Manager Sportif (Sports Manager) of FC Grenoble, starting from mid‑2021.
In June 2023, he was appointed Director sportif / Manager of LOU Rugby (Lyon) for the Top 14.
