A former Blue Bulls Craven Week centre Franco Naude went on to represent the Bulls at the 2015 U19 Currie Cup as well as the 2016 Currie Cup qualifying competition.

Later in 2016 he was named in the South Africa U20s squad for the 2016 U20s World Cup.

He returned to the Bulls after the competition and represented the union in the Currie Cup Premier Division.

His performances led to him being named in the Bulls 2017 Super Rugby squad where he made his Super Rugby debut against the Sunwolves.

That was the only match Naude featured in during the 2017 Super Rugby but he did represent the Bulls in the Currie Cup.

He was included in the Bulls wider training squad for the 2018 season.

In October 2018, Naude recommitted himself to the Blue Bulls for a further two seasons.

February 2019 saw him join the Lions on loan at centre, he returned to the Bulls in 2020.
