Dickson captained Otago down in New Zealand during the 2012 ITM Cup campaign and is a highly-rated player who is comfortable in a variety of positions, mainly fly half, and in the centre. A prodigious goal kicker, the 26-year-old is renowned for his strong boot and has regularly led Otago's points scoring in his five-years at the province. He joined Northampton for the 2013/14 season.
