Home Executive - Aiono is a mother of two children aged 3 years and 8 months. Her dedication has been
nothing short of incredible given the sacrifices to make this World Cup. She played her school rugby at
Aorere College alongside current Samoa players Leuta and Mamea. Has played a number of seasons with
the Manurewa Club before joining Papatoetoe where her brother Sam, a former Samoa International is
the coach. Whilst only 23 years old, Aiono could be mistaken as a veteran with five years of Farah Palmer
Cup experience under her belt with the Counties-Manukau Heat. A participant in the Penina High
Performance supported by PacificAus Sport 2024.
