Grigor Kerdikoshvili is originally from the Republic of Georgia, specifically the central Georgian town of Gori. He first moved to the United States in 2011. Grigor attended the United States Air Force Academy, where he began playing rugby. Both of Grigor’s parents played professional basketball, with his mother being selected to play for the Georgian national team. Grigor’s motivation comes from his sporting family, with competition in his blood. Hard work keeps him motivated, realizing that no matter his efforts, someone is working harder, pushing him to achieve his goals.
