Made his international debut in November 2012 against Japan and has gone on to become a regular in the squad. He began his club career at Steaua Bucuresti and went on to play for the Scarlets in Wales before Lyon and then Oyonnax in France. A strong yet mobile front-row, he was part of the Romanian team in their 2013 victory in the Nations Cup. In 2015 he will take part in his first Rugby World Cup in England.
