Joanah Ngan-Woo broke into the Black Ferns’ wider training squad in 2017 to a full contract in 2018, she enjoyed a meteoric rise up the ranks.
The Wellington Pride lock took up the game in Year 9 at St Catherine’s College, and by the age of 16 had linked up with the Oriental Rongotai club, from where she has played over 40 times for the Pride since 2013.
Ngan-Woo has struck up a useful second-row combination for the Pride with Sanita Levave.
