Jonah Placid

The fullback made his Super Rugby debut with the Reds against Western Force in 2014 after initially joining the club as a member of the wider training squad – his only appearance with Queensland before signing with the Rebels until the end of 2016.

Placid, the youngest member of the Rebels’ 2015 squad, represented Australia at three consecutive IRB Junior World Championships in France (2013), New Zealand (2014) and Italy (2015).

Placid, born in New South Wales but raised in Rockhampton, is capable of playing anywhere in the back three.

Since his Super Rugby debut, Placid has scored 25 points in 14 appearances.

In July 2017 Toulon announced that Placid would be joining the club for the 2017/18 season he has added 5 Super Rugby caps to his total so far this season and has been named on the bench for their final 2017 Super Rugby fixture.
