After being released by Saracens at 16-years-old, Jonny Weimann joined Northampton
Saints’ Academy set-up and has gone from strength to strength ever since, signing his
first professional contract with the Club ahead of the 2024/25 season.
He represented England at the Under-18s Six Nations festival, and the scrum-half made his
first senior appearance for Saints – coming off the bench against Sale Sharks in a friendly
back in March 2024. He has since gone on to make both his Premiership Rugby Cup and
Gallagher Premiership debuts for Saints, alongside picking up valuable experience in the
Championship with Bedford Blues.
Weimann made his England U20 debut in the recent Six Nations campaign against
Scotland. He trained with the senior XV ahead of their match vs. France XV in June.
