Kane James joined Exeter Chiefs from Newcastle Falcons in the 2023/24 season. This year,
he made his Gallagher Premiership debut for Chiefs and continued to represent Exeter
University in BUCS Super Rugby and National League 2 West.
James impressed in the 2024 Under-20 Six Nations and World Rugby U20 Championship
winning campaigns, scoring against Ireland and Fiji respectively.
James studied at Sedbergh School alongside fellow U20 Ben Redshaw. He began his rugby
journey aged six at St Peter’s RFC.
