Scrumhalf Kylem O'Donnell was drafted into the Waikato squad ahead of the 2013 NPC and made his debut during that season.
He spent two seasons with the club before signing for Taranaki ahead of the 2015 ITM Cup.
O'Donnell cemented himself as a regular in the Taranaki squad and was called into the Hurricanes squad during the 2017 Super Rugby season.
He didn't feature for the Hurricanes but helped Taranaki reach the Mitre 10 Cup semi-finals and claim the Ranfurly Shield before re-joining his former side ahead of the 2018 Mitre 10 Cup.
