In 2008 Alcacer was selected as part of the under 20 Argentinean team where he won 3 caps. Since then he has moved up to represent the Pumas 7s in 2011, 2013 and 2014. He made his test debut for Los Pumas in 2009 against Chile and has since represented the Jaguars on a number of occasions. He is currently playing his rugby with San Isidro Club, Buenos Aires.
