Lukhan Salakaia-Loto

Was a pivotal member of the Australian squad at the 2015 World Rugby U20 Championship in Italy.

Later in 2015, he signed a three-year deal with the Queensland Reds and was named in the Queensland Country squad for the National Rugby Championship in 2015.

Made his Super Rugby debut for the Reds in April 2016. Won the inaugural Super U20s Championship with Queensland and was again selected to represent the Australian Under 20s. Made his National Rugby Championship debut for Brisbane City.

In 2017 he established himself as a regular starter for the Reds, before earning his Test debut against the Springboks. His full skillset and power were on display later in the year when he had a stellar cameo off the bench in the Wallabies’ upset win over the All Blacks in the third Bledisloe Cup Test in Brisbane.

Following a strong start to the Super Rugby season with the Reds, the powerful forward was named in the Wallabies squad for the 2018 June Series.

Tui made just 6 appearances for the Reds during the 2018 Super Rugby season and enters the 2018 Rugby Championship with 7 test caps.

Tui featured in 4 of the Wallabies' Rugby Championship matches and following an incident with a fan, Tui decided to step away from the game for the remainder of the year for family reasons.

Ahead of the 2019 Super Rugby season, Tui legally changed his name to Lukhan Salakaia-Loto to honour his stepfather following his sudden passing.
