Zanon played in the with the Benetton Lions U18 shirt before moving to the Academy Zonale of Mogliano.
In June 2015 he won the junior national championship with Mogliano Rugby by beating the Capitolina Rugby Union in the final.
Zanon made his PRO14 debut in the 2018/2019 season and as of December 2019 he has made 19 appearances and has scored 10 points.
