In 2021, he was appointed to a key role in the Connacht Rugby Academy, as a Development Officer, after having coached at Leinster U19s, St Mary’s RFC, and within school and club levels.
He also coached with the Ireland Under‑20s, particularly in attack / backs roles, during campaigns where Ireland won back‑to‑back Grand Slams in the U20 Six Nations.
In May 2023, he was promoted to assistant attack coach for the Connacht senior side under head coach Pete Wilkins.
