Australia take a 9-6 lead over Argentina into halftime. The sides traded early penalties to make it 3-3 after just six minutes of play. Australia would level matters almost immediately with a penalty of their own, before applying the pressure just before the break with another shot at goal seeing them up by three points at halftime.
