FULL TIME! That's the full 80 here at The Recreation Ground and the final score is 32-12 to the home side. A very deserved win for Bath as they were the better side throughout the game. A hatrick by Matt Banahan certainly helped with the victory and also with the bonus point! This was a game that went right up to the last minute, as Montpellier looked to at least earn a losing bonus point, but failed to get through Bath's defense on too many occasions. Matt Banahan has been named as the Man of the Match for his performance. This win puts Bath in a very good position in the pool with 2 games left to play. Unfortunately this loss also guarantees that Montpellier will not be proceeding to the next stage of the Champion's Cup. Amazing try! Horacio Agulla goes over for the home side's fourth try in a spectacular manner. After very good ball retention by Bath, a flat skip pass to Horacio Agulla allowed him to go through Montpellier's defense unopposed and go over the whitewash. George Ford adds the extras to further their lead.
Bath refuse to walk away without their bonus point try. They currently have a scrum on Montpellier's 5 metre line. Both sides looking to earn that bonus point in the dying minutes of this game!
Another possible try for the visitors. The referee goes to the TMO for confirmation.
Bath penalised for hands in the ruck and Montpellier use the rollling maul off the line out yet again.
The visitors becoming aware of the fact that Bath like to use the choke tackle and to avoid this are going to ground before the home side have the chance to execute the technique.
We're into the last 10 minutes of play and it's Montpellier on the attack, with Fulgence Ouedraogo making a good break and gaining ground.
Very scrappy play by both sides with poor offloads and ball retention. Montpellier come off with a penalty and kick their way up the field. Montpellier line out on Bath's 10 metre line.
