Glasgow fans claiming that the red card wouldn't have changed the game which may be fair enough but when one of your players is stupid enough to throw what is literally a flying headbutt you can't complain one bit so pack your bags fly over hear in 2 weeks time and we'll see if ye can find another prop who has some regard for the safety of opposition players and Connacht will do it again

Giruy May 5

Can't really argue! Loss of Dunbar didn't help in what was a physical game. On to round 2.

Colm Grimes May 5

Unlucky Glasgow, ye didn't get going at all today, maybe Connacht didn't either and then home advantage told.
Red or not ... I would be fuming with your prop for that effort? He had clear sight of him, time to think, and his hands never even feigned a movement towards his target, crazy stuff to just launch yourself into clear space with your hands down head first into the face of the scrum half!
As a Connacht fan I feel for ye watching that happen, it shredded your game plan.
Kudos though for still pushing for a score towards he end with 14 men
. 2 best teams in the pro 12 today both a joy to watch (normally) but tribalism aside, can you complain overly about the result today? I think we shaded it and deserved the win.

Until the rematch!

we scored more so today we were. I've such great admiration for that Glasgow team. proper rugby team with flair players. and yes undoubtedly the best team in the league. but sometimes teams loses for whatever reason. today ye lost. deserved to lose, red or not. hard luck and try and put it right the next day. I hope ye don't but that's rugby.

Niall O'Sullivan May 5

Well you can't win if you can't breach the defence....

Andrew May 5

Better in defence I'll give you that. Definitely not the better attacking side though

Padraig MacCathmhaoil May 5

hammered munster that's meant to say

Padraig MacCathmhaoil May 5

well to be honest just echoing what one of your own is saying. simple as that wee Andrew. and to be honest it's a great feeling Matt came on here giving it the big one after connacht hammered money claiming Glasgow would roll us over. well guess what. better team won today end of story.
