Promising play by France early on in the half. Possible try scoring opportunities which are being let down by their hands.

Half Time! After 40 minutes of rugby only 3 points separate these two sides. Needless to say the two stand out players of the half have been Anthony Watson, who has two tries under his belt already in this game, and Sam Burgess, despite picking up a yellow card at the end of the half. The tries scored by Watson were both impeccable feats of the Bath man's skill and pace. This first 40 minutes has set up the second half to be a thrilling, close encounter. Live updates to follow.
