France take a 13-6 lead over England into halftime. England opened the scoring with an early penalty, but missed a second shot at goal shortly after. France responded with the games first try to lad 7-3, with England hitting back with a penalty to make it a one point ball game midway through the half. France kept the scoreboard ticking over, slotting two penalties to extend their lead. England piled on the pressure just before the break, but were kept out by some outstanding French defence on their own line.
