Exeter Chiefs take a 7-0 lead over Saracens into halftime. Exeter opened the scoring with an early try, with Saracens missing a penalty kick at goal shortly after. Exeter then picked up a yellow card, but Saracens were unable to capitalize on their numerical advantage, missing another penalty attempt. Saracens had the better of the half both territorially and possession wise, but were unable to convert that pressure into any points.
