Well defended by Ireland and Machenaud is forced to carry

Ball won by the French and they maul

France go to the corner from the penalty

McCarthy clashes heads with McGrath in a two-man tackle and drops to floor immediately. He's stretchered off and replaced for a second time by Donnacha Ryan.

Both of the Kearney's and Mc Fadden have been useless.

Mcloskey doesn't give up anything defence anyway but adds so much more in attack . Does Henshaw play 13 at all ?

Break in play now as McCarthy recieves attention. Painful head injury it looks like

Come on Ireland

Plisson goes wide, cuts through the line and Trimble just manages to get a hand in the way and kill the move. We go back for the penalty advantage
