Doesn't look good

Injury

Hurricanes make easy work of the Highlanders defence just by using pickup and drives. Eventually after camping on the Highlanders tryline, Goodes takes a crash ball and manages to get the ball on the tryline.

Highlanders defence is rushing up much quicker than in the first half, perhaps it is a tactic discussed at halftime. Nasi Manu makes a hard late hit on Conrad Smith and is penalised. He is fortunate it was not a yellow card. Hurricanes have a linoeut near the Highlanders 22m line.

Blood Bin Reversal

Blade Thomson is penalised for changing his running lines to obstruct a player chasing a kick. Very unnecessary. Sopoaga lines up a kick to regain the lead.

Seconds remaining in the half, Highlanders are on the attack.

Ben Franks is penalised for slipping his bind at the scrum. Highlanders have an opportunity to regain the lead going into halftime.
