DHL Stormers loose forward Deon Fourie sustains a hamstring injury, forcing him out of URC clash against Ulster.

The veteran Springbok flanker recently fought his way back from major knee and biceps injuries to earn a national recall from Rassie Erasmus.

This latest injury disrupts his momentum just as the Springboks prepare for their upcoming end of year tour.

Medical assessments confirm that the injury will not require surgery.

Stormers coach Labeeb Levy confirmed that he will not be playing this weekend. He says "the hamstring is a tricky one. It normally takes four to six weeks to heal, sometimes longer"

The four to six week recovery period severly threatens Fouries availability for South Africa's November test schedule. Stormers management will monitor his progress weekly before clearing him for full contact training.
