Ticket purchased. I'm a yank, so this is my first time seeing either nation play. Can't wait. Cheers to all who play, ref, and support this incredible sport.
Ireland, expect a caning.
I'm not irish but I see they're trying to promote the sport in the US with high profile matches. Despite when NZ played the US, matches like this could actually attract a foreign crowd. A large irish crowd and a competitive game could help. Maybe better better if u win it ( As a Welsh fan I was pretty gutted for Ireland losing in the last minute against the all blacks).
Yes. This game will be played at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, USA. (Chicago has a few million people of Irish decent, so I imagine the crowd will be filled with lots of Green. However, the ABs are iconic in rugby, so they'll have support too. November can be nice weather, or awful, that far north, so weather will be hit or miss.) I'm hoping to purchase tickets the moment they go on sale.
In the US?
Is this the first (non World Cup) game between two international sides on "neutral" soil?
