Scotland regain possession after the restart and the ball is kicked ahead for Flemming to chase and he slide in to collect the ball. His momentum takes him over the try line allowing him to score the game clinching try. Japan put up a good fight but, the Scots are victorious

Japan attacking at will here looking for the score and in the end manage to break the Scottish defense as Goto goes over for a well deserved try

Japan unable to capitalize on the opportunity as Lemeki is drag down and forced to knock the ball on , and Scotland have a defensive scrum to deal with

Scotland manage to halt the progress and now have a defensive line out to deal with but, under pressure from Japan knock the ball on and Japan now have the scrum in a very attacking position five meters out from the Scottish try line

Japan go on the attack with Lemeki who bolts down field but, is hauled in as he flings the ball infield looking for support

Scotland manage to turnover the possession and employ the kick ahead but, the ball wins the race and rolls over the dead ball line

Japan on the attack now but, a monster tackle brings their momentum to a halt. Play is brought back however and Japan have the ball after being awarded the penalty

Scotland get the second half underway

The Japanese defense holds on for now , not allowing any further points to be scored by Scotland, and the players head to the side for the half time chat
