Match Facts

This will be the 12th meeting between Leinster and Toulouse in the Heineken Champions Cup (Leinster W5, Toulouse W6), only Munster and Castres have clashed more often in the history of this tournament (16 times).

Leinster and Toulouse have met twice previously in the semi-finals of the Heineken Champions Cup, Toulouse winning their 2009/10 encounter at this stage before Leinster emerged victorious in the 2010/11 edition; on both occasions the winning side went on to lift the trophy.

Leinster and Toulouse are both appearing in the semi-finals for the 11th time in tournament history, only Munster (14, including 2018/19) have reached this stage more often; Toulouse have won six of their semi-finals, more than any other side.

Since the beginning of 2017/18 Leinster have won 15 of their 16 Heineken Champions Cup games, their only defeat in that run coming in Round 2 of this season’s pool stage against Toulouse.

Toulouse have won 36/36 scrums on their own feed in the Heineken Champions Cup this season, the only side with a 100% success rate.

Leinster are one of just two sides (also Edinburgh) to not receive a card of either colour in the Heineken Champions Cup this season, they’ve also conceded the fewest turnovers per game (11.6) of any side.

Toulouse’s Cheslin Kolbe has beaten 45 defenders in the Heineken Champions Cup this season, seven more than any other player, Leinster’s Garry Ringrose ranks fourth with 29 defenders beaten.

Leinster’s Jordan Larmour and Toulouse’s Sofiane Guitoune are two of five players to have played the maximum 560 minutes in the Heineken Champions Cup this season.

James Ryan is one of just two players in the Heineken Champions Cup this season to make 100+ tackles (107) and 100+ carries (103).

Three of the six players to make 12+ offloads this season in the Heineken Champions Cup represent Toulouse; Sofiane Guitoune (16), Joe Tekori (16) and Thomas Ramos (12), no one has made more than six for Leinster (Garry Ringrose 6).
