Tense finish at the Madejski but Paice couldn't ground the ball in the final moments of the game. Overall Edinburgh edged it and they move on to the semis. Irish can be proud of their effort after being 16 points down and going ahead but Edinburgh fought back through McKenzie. Sam Hidalgo-Clyne was influential for the away side throughout and scored 13 points for his side. Irish's season effectively over now with not much to play for, while Edinburgh move onto the semi's and have set themselves up for a tie with Newport Gwent Dragons in Murrayfield.
