Full time here in Kings Park, Durban. The Sharks will head to Cape Town next week to play Western Province in the final of the Currie Cup. A great game from both sides especially in the second half with a lot of action. The Cheetahs started off very well with good possession but from there on it was the Sharks who dominated proceedings with brilliant performances from Patrick Lambie and returning Springbok Francois Steyn. The Cheetahs tried a late fight back but a try from Heimar Williams put the game out of reach for Cheetahs and its the favourites Natal Sharks who will go for a repeat of last year Currie Cup final.

The Sharks respond to the Cheetahs try immediately with another try of their own through substitute Heimar Williams. Great attacking play from the Sharks run it from their own half and create a huge over lap on the left side to score, Lambie converts the try.

Bismarck Du Plessis gets a yellow card for stamping a player off the ball, Cheetahs go for the corner from the resulting penalty and great attacking rugby allowed Johann Sadie to stretch over the line to keep this game alive. Johan Goosen kicks the conversion.
