You guys have the central contracting system which keeps players fresh and together. SA can't do that. We lose so many players due to fatigue, overseas poaching and poor structures (read quotas). It's a real mess here at the moment in terms of coaching too and the strength of the rand isn't helping to keep players here

the problem i see is ever since 2008 the ABs have had a core group of 7 pkayers all the time. i do not see this in other teams. thats why this new AB team is still winning.

I think he is being used as a place holder to blood new players before making one of them captain like Whitely for example

also as an AB fan i was reslly hoping for the SA to keep the game close. we need SA to be competitive. all the best to SA and the fans

i think the SA have the wrong guy as captain? im not sure why but Strauss just does not seem like the right guy
