New Zealand and South Africa renew their rivalry as the sides square off in round 2 of the Rugby Championship. Both sides opened their campaigns with victories, New Zealand edging Argentina in a hard fought encounter 20-16 and South Africa claiming a convincing 35-17 win over Australia.
The Springboks will take a lot of confidence into this match, having beaten the All Blacks in the corresponding fixture last season. Both teams will have one eye on the upcoming World Cup, where they will face one another in the opening Pool B clash in a match which could very well decide top position in the Pool. But let that take nothing away from this fixture as their is no such thing as a dead rubber match when the All Blacks and Springboks do battle.
